Recently diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes, Aanvi understands that life can bring unexpected challenges. To her, a safe and equal world for girls is one where every girl feels respected, protected and supported, regardless of her circumstances.

 

Girls living with health conditions should have access to the care they need, including lifesaving medications like insulin, and be encouraged to follow their dreams without limitations. She believes they all deserve the opportunity to learn, lead, play sport, travel with confidence and achieve our goals.

 

Most importantly, girls should feel heard, valued and safe, both at home and in the wider world.
