Westpac Fiji Sponsorship Request

Thank you for your interest in a potential Westpac sponsorship. Westpac has a long history of helping communities where we operate, built on strong partnerships that reflect our corporate values.

In the Pacific, where Westpac has been operating for more than 120 years as Papua New Guinea’s first bank and Fiji’s longest running bank, our sponsorship program allows us to show the commitment we have to helping create a better future for people in Fiji and PNG and supporting the events and passions that inspires our customers, staff and the communities in which we operate.

 

Activities that Westpac will support through sponsorship

Westpac receives a high volume of sponsorship requests each year. When considering sponsorship proposals, Westpac will only pursue opportunities that can be assessed against the following principles.

  1. Aligned with our Westpac Pacific community priorities: education, environment, equality and help at times of need; and/or
  2. Key to economic development for Fiji and/or
  3. Supporting our own business and customer growth objectives.

All entities supported by Westpac must be registered charities or meet our customer due diligence requirements.

 

Activities that Westpac will not support include those that:

  • Support political parties or politicians
  • Supports an individual
  • May present a reputational risk
  • Support denominational religions
  • Do not provide financial services exclusively
  • Promote the business of gambling, alcohol, smoking or drugs
  • Promote socially divisive issues or events e.g., beauty pageants or sports that may be linked to animal cruelty.

 

When submitting a request for sponsorship

Sponsorship requests need to be sent to Westpac at least one month ahead of the opportunity / event date to be considered for financial sponsorship support. All requests need to be submitted via the Westpac Fiji Sponsorship Request Form below and emailed to fjmarketing@westpac.com.au

By submitting this sponsorship request form, you consent to Westpac collecting, using and holding the information you provide for the purpose of assessing your sponsorship request and communicating with you about that request. Where a sponsorship proceeds, Westpac may request further information, including personal information and identification documents, to meet its due diligence, legal and regulatory obligations.
