Within just nine months of joining the Westpac Fiji Graduate Programme, Anjesh has secured a permanent role as Security Officer with the Property, Security and Corporate Services Team, an achievement that highlights his dedication, curiosity and drive to grow.
Originally from Nasarawaqa, Bua in Vanua Levu, Anjesh brings a strong passion for sustainability, learning and leadership. His academic journey at the University of the South Pacific, combined with international experiences such as the JENESYS Programme and the One Ocean Expedition, has shaped his perspective on global collaboration and environmental stewardship.
With qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Health Care Management, and Environmental Management, Anjesh shows that success in banking comes from mindset and adaptability, not just academic background.
During his two-month rotation in New Accounts, Anjesh mastered key areas such as KYC requirements, financial crime risk assessment and balancing compliance with efficiency, experiences that strengthened his decision-making and built his confidence in navigating complex regulatory frameworks.
As an active member of TYN The Youth Network at Westpac, he has continued to grow his leadership skills through initiatives including the Westpac Youth Summit, reflecting his commitment to personal development and collaboration.
