Bonus Saver Account Save with Westpac's Bonus Saver Account and receive bonus interest on top of normal interest on your savings. To earn the bonus interest a deposit of at least $1 will have to be made in a month and no withdrawals recorded in the same calendar month. The interest is calculated daily on a per annum rate. A great way to save and reach your savings goals faster!

Westpac Fiji offers this transactional account for customers who want an integrated transaction and savings account for their everyday needs. This account is suitable for personal customers who want to receive their regular income in the one account, which they can use as a savings account too. With a HandyCard, you have access to your Advantage Saver account 24 hours–7 days a week via ATMs and EFTPOS. The account can also be used to set Automatic Transfers to other accounts for loan repayments or regular savings. A monthly maintenance fee is charged, while all cheques deposited are free. Withdrawal fees are also charged. Credit interest is paid monthly calculated on daily balance. - Electronic Transaction Account
Westpac's Electronic Transaction Account provides customer with the convenience of doing most of your banking from just one account. With a number of free withdrawals, this electronic account is perfect for those that do a high number of transactions and is accessible 24 hours a day through a Handycard at ATMs or EFTPOS, or via Telephone and Internet Banking. Credit interest is paid monthly calculated on daily balance. - Seniors Account – For pensioners and retirees over the age of 55 years
The Westpac Seniors Account is an electronic account for anyone aged 55 year and over. With a minimum opening balance of $10, the Seniors Account provides you with the convenience of doing banking with unlimited free electronic transactions, whether it be withdrawing or depositing. Provides our senior citizens with after-hours access to their funds through a Handycard at ATMs or EFTPOS, or via Telephone and Internet Banking. Credit interest is paid monthly calculated on daily balance. - Youth Account – For children under the age of 18 years
Are you in primary or secondary school? It's never too early to learn to control your finances. You're at a great age to learn how to conduct smart and informed banking transactions and save. The Westpac Youth Account is designed to teach our future leaders on being financially responsible. With a low opening balance, no monthly maintenance fees, unlimited free deposits and a number of fee-free electronic withdrawals, the Youth account is suitable for teaching school-aged children how to save. A HandyCard may be provided for electronic banking access for children from 14 years and above. Credit interest is paid monthly calculated on daily balance. - Tertiary Student Account – Tertiary Students between the ages of 18 to 23 years
The Westpac Tertiary Student Account offers fee-free everyday banking account for tertiary students under the age of 23. With a number of free electronic withdrawals a month, unlimited free deposits and no monthly service fees, the account is designed for students studying and regularly receiving allowances or wages from part-time employment. The account has 24 hours access through a HandyCard at ATMs or EFTPOS, or via Telephone and Internet Banking. Credit interest is paid monthly calculated on daily balance. - Personal Cheque Accounts
The Westpac Personal Cheque is a great account for making payments via cheques or everyday transactional banking through an issued HandyCard. The account offers up to two cheque withdrawals or two deposits free. There is also 24-hour access using a HandyCard at ATMs or EFTPOS, or via Telephone Banking and Internet Banking. Depending on eligibility a Visa Debit Card may be linked to the account for international access to your funds.
- Meeting Customer Identification Requirements to open a Westpac Account
To open an account with Westpac, you will need to meet our 100-points Customer Identification process. Your will need to provide two forms of identification, either:- Birth Certificate or Passport; and
- Another photo identification – local Superannuation Card or Driver's License
There are other forms of identification accepted by Westpac, please enquire at any Westpac Fiji branch or via Telephone Banking on (679) 132 032 or email westpacfiji@westpac.com.au.
For the Youth Account:- Birth Certificate; and
- Letter from school, or
- If a parent as trustee opening an account for their child:
- the child's birth certificate; and
- the authorised signatory (the parent) will have to meet the 100 points identification
For the Tertiary Student Account:- Birth Certificate or Passport; and
- Valid Student Identification Card from Tertiary institution
Card access Westpac offers a Bank Card for all our electronic transaction accounts. This is applied for upon opening of accounts:- HandyCards
A Westpac HandyCard is available with all of Westpac's Electronic transactional accounts and the Bonus Saver Account (mainly for electronic deposits). A HandyCard can be used at all Westpac ATMs and EFTPOS and also, at other local Fiji Bank's ATMs that have an Interchange agreement with Westpac. - Visa Debit Card
By linking your Westpac Visa Debit Card to your Cheque and/or Savings account, you can enjoy the convenience of accessing your own funds anywhere the Visa logo is displayed – in Fiji or internationally – at ATMS or EFTPOS. In addition, you can access cash 24 hours a day at any ATM displaying the Visa logo. At Westpac ATMs you can make cash withdrawals, deposits, and other transactions any time of the day or night. - Local Dollar Credit Cards linked to Transactional Accounts
Westpac American Express® Credit Card (personal) and Westpac American Express® Gold Credit Cards may be linked to your personal electronic transaction accounts held with us, i.e. personal cheque account, advantage saver account, and electronic transaction accounts. This means you may only need One Card (your Westpac Amex card) to access your credit card funds and your own personal account funds in Fiji and the other six Pacific locations Westpac is represented at (i.e. Cook Islands, PNG, Samoa, Solomon Is., Tonga and Vanuatu). Please note this will only be accessible at POS terminals where American Express® Cards are accepted and at any Westpac ATM in the Pacific region. - ATM Interchange

Westpac is the leading provider within the Fijian, Merchant Credit Card market. Westpac can offer an end-to-end card processing solution covering all credit card acceptance options via retail face- to-face, e-commerce and gateway solutions. Westpac has the electronic capability to acquire all five (5) major credit cards in Fiji via EFTPOS terminals. The major credit cards accepted on Westpac terminals are Amex, Visa, MasterCard, Diners, and JCB cards.- Westpac's Internet Payment Gateway Service
The Westpac Internet Payment Gateway (IPG) Service is an e-commerce merchant facility, issued to merchants as a solution for all "card not present" credit card transactions. Credit Cards – Westpac American Express® FJD Credit Cards Westpac offers three types of Westpac American Express Credit Cards to our personal and business customers. Westpac normal lending criteria apply.- Westpac American Express® Credit Card – for our personal customers. Eligibility criteria include a minimum income of $18,000 per annum. The Credit Card may be linked to a transactional savings and/or cheque account to access locally or within the Pacific region. One supplementary card may be issued to a family member over the age of 18 years
- Westpac American Express® Gold Credit Card – for high net worth customers. Eligibility Criteria include a minimum income of $35,000 per annum. The Gold Credit Card may be linked to a transactional savings and/or cheque account to access locally or within the Pacific region. Supplementary cards may be issued to family members over the age of 18 years
- Westpac American Express® Business Card – for commercial customers needing a card to meet their business needs. Normal business lending criteria applies. Additional cards can be issued for executives of the business with individual limits set on each supplementary card

This includes having a low cost transaction account, and a no fee saving and a high credit interest account giving the individual the incentive to save.
