Same Day International Payments

Westpac is one of the leading foreign exchange and international payments player in the region. Westpac is able to make same day payments in a wide number of currencies at very competitively priced exchange rates.

Forward Exchange Contracts (FEC's)

Westpac's treasury dealers can help you manage your foreign currency risk via forward exchange contracts. Forward exchange contracts provide you with the opportunity to lock in an exchange rate today, for the purchase or sale of a fixed amount of foreign currency on a future date. Locking in the exchange rate provides you with certainty; it protects you from adverse future movements in the exchange rate. Dealing in forward exchange contracts is subject to approval from the Reserve Bank of Fiji and Westpac's credit assessment process.

Bank Cheques and Foreign Currency Drafts

In order to facilitate personal and business banking needs Westpac can provide its customers with Fiji dollar bank cheques, plus currency drafts in a wide range of foreign currencies.

Travellers Cheques

Westpac can provide customers Travellers Cheques in range of different currencies. In addition, Westpac branches will accept and cash Travellers Cheques.

Foreign Currency Notes
